Hello and welcome!

Hello and welcome to the Spirit of Albion website collective, an interactive site for all those interested in folklore, earth mysteries, psychic questing, art and poetry and the stranger side of life. I hope to publish many articles on here in the future.

I have now finished writing my psychic questing book "Spirit Chaser", and am now researching for two future projects. Please feel free to interact and post comments, though please keep these relevant to the sites content.

I will be posting some of the best articles and interviews from the archives of ASH Magazine and The Lighthouse on here soon, and am always looking for articles of interest. Please contact me if you would like to contribute.

Druid Grove of Bega

The Druid Grove of Bega was born out of an idea from the 1989 Quest of St Bega and subsequent book Bega and the Sacred Ring which was an account of the psychic quest published in 1992. The grove has its spiritual roots in the Bassenthwaite area of Cumbria. We are currently based high up in the remote hills of North Cornwall, close to the north-west extremity of the wild and beautiful Bodmin Moor.

The idea flourished when we were asked to perform a private ceremony to consecrate a new stone circle in west Cornwall in the summer of 1999. This was followed by Summer Solstice and Lughnasadh rituals at the same stone circle. Following from this we received requests to perform two handfasting rituals, one on Chapel Porth beach in Cornwall and the other at Castlerigg stone circle in Cumbria. We specialise in weddings and handfastings, other rituals of celebration and rites of passage. Our ceremonies are open to anyone who feels that the mainstream religious traditions are not suitable or appropriate for their needs. ALL are welcome, regardless of ethnic origin, religious belief, gender, sexual orientation etc, we do not discriminate. The ceremonies offered are all based on a sound working knowledge of Witchcraft, Druidry and the Western Mystery Tradition, all drawn from over 20 years of personal experience within these disciplines. The ceremonies can be tailor made to your requirements, just ask! We are not affiliated to any other Druid order, but we are an official Iseum of the Fellowship of Isis. We are an eclectic pantheistic Grove who see God/Goddess manifesting as the flowing spirit in nature and within each of us as inspiration.

Bega of the Gifts Iseum, an official Fellowship of Isis Iseum is our Druid Grove's sacred Hearth of the Goddess - a sacred place of sanctuary and healing for all. We are now accepting new members, and welcome applications by email.
